      This site is about Lew's Model Boat's Dusseldorf (FLB 2) RC Fire Boat model.  This was built from the Robbe/Krick model Dusseldorf 2.  Originally developed by Robbe Products, the ship model division of Robbe Modellsport was purchaed by Krick Modelechnik in 2015 and starting in 2016 marketing was then continued under the brand name "Romarin by Krick".

      The purpose of this site is to add as much information about the fire boat Dusseldorf (FLB 2) and about Lew's Model Boats' modification to the kit and the completed model.  Also included on this site re several 3D printable files which can be downloaded (free).

      All of this all started when I was given a partially completed Krick model of the Dusseldorf 2.  Eventually the model was almost compelely disassembled with the goal of modifying the model into the current state of the real fire boat, including the lengthened hull.
